Manage Pain and Protect the Tooth
While waiting to be seen, use a cold compress to reduce swelling and over-the-counter pain relievers (not aspirin directly on the tooth) for comfort. If you’ve lost a tooth or crown, try to keep it clean and safe to bring with you.
